My son loves the Bogs, they are comfortable and seem to be very well made. However, the boots do not have the hand pulls as shown in the photos of the product. The company responded quickly, stating that they will give us a 15% discount due to the discrepancy.

These boots are great - I wanted the extra height for some situations but if you don't need it, you can easily "cuff" them and they are shorter. When cuffed, the ventilation is better for hotter days. I have been in water nearly to the tops and nothing comes thru!

I love these boots! I ordered two other pairs of boots and returned them before trying these MuckBoots. What a difference! They are smooth and seam free on the inside with nothing to rub or bite your ankle. The toe area is roomy and comfortable. They are true to size with just a little bit of room to spare. They are exactly what I wanted -- boots that I can just stick my feet in and go. Also, you can remove them hands free. They keep my feet so warm and dry. I use them to walk my dog through the wet pasture grass -- and on rainy days around the house. Additionally, they don't smell like moth balls like the first two pairs did. I work outside, in any and all weather.

My old, cheap, rubber work boots were worn out and painful to wear. This time, I wanted boots that were insulated, had a cushioned sole, and a steel shank.

I bounced all over Amazon comparing specs and reviews. The boots that seemed to qualify were all surprisingly expensive. Then I saw these, with the claim to be the "ultimate". Hard details were somewhat lacking (but they're "ultimate", right?).

Based on four days use, two of them in 3 to 8 inches of slushy, semi-frozen mud...

1-They're the most comfortable rubber boots I've had.

2-They're the warmest too. (The tag in the box says they're good to -20*.)

3-There is no shank. (The soles are thick and stiff enough that it usually won't matter. It will matter if you spend any time standing on a ladder, as I sometimes do. But, at least, they're "ultimate", right?)

4-The tag claims they wick away moisture from your feet. It seems to be true. I've felt NO dampness to my socks on removal of the boots.

5-If in doubt, go 1/2 size larger.

6-They look like Batman's superhero boots. (Style points, doncha know)

7-Check the manufacturer's site.

I feel a little silly paying this much for rubber boots, but I'm getting too old to skimp on weather protection or comfort. I'm, so far, very pleased with the performance of these boots. If I have any disappointment with their durability, I will let y'all know.

My son (30yrs old) and I are believers in the Muck Boot brand. I purchased a pair of Wetlands to use during our winter weather here in E. Tennessee. My feet get uncomfortable in my Edgewaters when the temperatures dip into the 20s and below. The Wetland boot is a good boot when hunting in cold, wet weather or when hunting in areas where shallow water will be negotiated. If, you are sensitive to cold weather or live in areas that have much colder weather than the Chattanooga area you might be more pleased with the Woody series.

I love my Muck Boots! They are everything that they are advertised to be. They are waterproof and very easy to clean. The elastic trim does a great job of keeping the dirt out. They are easy on and easy off (just one hand to slip on), which makes going in and out of the house much nicer. I just slip them off at the door, and after a quick break they are back on in no time. My wife really appreciates the fact that I don't track mud and dirt through the house any more. The greatest thing about my Muck Boots is the comfort. I am a 220-pound guy who does not tip toe around my yard work. I storm through it with a lot of hustle and energy. As a result, my feet usually take a beating. Not any more, with my Muck Boots my feet stay comfortable and happy all day. The ventilation is great. Even after working 9 hours in 105-degree heat, my feet remained not only clean, dry, and comfortable, but also remarkably cool. I can't say that about the rest of me, just my happy feet. These shoes are easily worth the price. They are about a half size larger than all my other shoes and boots. A thicker pair of athletic socks fixes this. Great boots, great comfort!

I bought these for my husband - he has a couple of pairs of the low Muck shoes which he loves, and a tall pair of Muckboots too. These ankle high ones have become his absolute favorites -they are slip-on easy, but provide good support to the foot and ankle, and they are unbelievably nice-feeling on the feet.
Muck boots are a fabulous line of products - extremely well made and very useful for the country lifestyle - these are a wonderful addition to the boot tray !!

My 10 year old son needed new boots in a hurry, in time for a scout hike in muddy, rainy weather. These arrived very quickly, and are just as described: waterproof, warm, and comfortable. Plus, the "mossy oak" camo print made these a big kid hit. They made this hiking outing a pleasure. Plus they will be great for winter snow wear. They are almost an all-year-round boot that keeps you warm in cold weather, and cool and dry in warmer weather.

My son loves the Bogs, they are comfortable and seem to be very well made. However, the boots do not have the hand pulls as shown in the photos of the product.
